Disk
A fundamental requirement for every client, tenant, or customer's workloads as it provides the backbone for securely storing their respective data in a cloud environment. It ensures data persistence, accessibility, and scalability for diverse applications and user needs.
AVM Cloud stands out by offering a comprehensive storage solution that caters to varying criticalities of workloads, by providing three tiers of storage, each designed to deliver different levels of Input/Output Operations Per Second (IOPS) performance.
We prioritize data protection and disaster recovery by offering storage replication options. Businesses can replicate their data across different storage locations, ensuring high availability and redundancy for crucial business continuity. AVM Cloud also extends its storage offerings to include object storage with the option of local or geographical redundancy.
Storage Tier 0/1/2 Disk
AVM Cloud offers 3 different tiers of storage Tier 0 storages, also known as all flash storages are meant for applications that require high performance, low latency storage such as databases for ERP or e-commerce. This offers reliability and efficiency, providing customers a peace of mind. Tier 1 storage utilizes spinning disks that are made up of performance disks to provide fast performance with reasonable latency that is optimum for application that do not require millisecond latency from the storage IO. Tier 2 storage is meant for archiving workloads which are low cost but have higher disk latency. The recommendation is to have critical applications and databases on tier 0 and non-critical application on tier 1.
Storage Tier with Storage Replication
With the combination of enterprise-class technology and the outstanding support and customer service we provide at AVM Cloud, we will ensure to provide the best cloud storage service in Malaysia in order to protect your valuable data and digital assets. Customers subscribing to DR services can benefit from dedicated connectivity solutions to enhance their disaster recovery capabilities. It is most often used to transfer data between the primary and secondary data centre. Most AVM Cloud customers choose this connectivity option due to its stability and efficiency. Customers with higher RPO requirements are advised to opt for this type of replication.
AVM S3
This provides the customer with a service to store massive amounts of unstructured data into an object storage.
NFS Disk
For applications which need to share the same data as different applications and have the shared storage de-coupled from the server, customers can subscribe to NFS services.
