Compute for RDS
Relational Database Service (RDS), "Compute" refers to the underlying compute resources allocated to run and manage the database instances. RDS is a fully managed database service that allows customers to set up, operate, and scale relational databases in the cloud without the need to manage the underlying infrastructure.
When creating an RDS instance, customers can choose the appropriate licenses and compute resources based on their database workload and performance requirements. AVM Cloud offers various options, each designed to cater to specific use cases and workloads.
Database Licenses & Compute Resources
Two distinct types of databases are offered: MS SQL and Postgre SQL, each providing a range of alternatives concerning the computational resources essential for the database.
In the case of MS SQL, it is available in two editions: STD and Enterprise. On the contrary, PostgreSQL emerges as the preeminent open-source SQL database, enjoying significant demand among application developers and administrators.
In terms of resource allocation, the categorization of units such as small, medium, and large is contingent upon the specifications of the virtual machine (VM).
